I usuall...So sorry I missed your message earlier! I usually type out the chapter numbers and topics at the beginning of the year (tedious but worth it) and then I keep a notepad (a word doc would work too) with a copy of the URLs of online resources I want to use during that chapter.

I'll also note library books I want to use (and I have a separate "Upcoming Library Books" list I can print so I can get them ahead of time, though more often, in stead of having a particular book in mind, I just list off the topics of the next few chapters and search my local library for what I have. Often there's a section where all the stuff on that civilization or topic is, so I just sit there and look at several books until I see one I like). History books I own are on my bookshelf in order by civilization and age, which makes it easy for me to browse and grab something before a lesson.

I also have files with resources I've downloaded. On my chapter page I will just note the name and where I saved a resource. How did you ...These lesson outlines are incredible! How did you organize and use all of these resources during your lesson? Did you use a tablet or laptop with bookmarks, and printed pages? I would really like to know your method of history lesson planning and using the books and online resources you mentioned. That's where I get tripped up. I'll find videos, but I'm not sure where to save them or note which ones I'm panning to use for each lesson, or where to keep all the additional pages I've printed out. Does that make sense? Anyway, well done and thank you for sharing all of this.Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05561816700328169861noreply@blogger.com
